Impact Connected Car is an acceleration program funded by the European Commission that aims to boost the industrial needs of the automobile sector. According to its web: «Projects selected for the accelerator program will “smartize” their connected car startups while learning from experts in business, technology, corporations, and funding».

Moreover, Impact Connected Car has the collaboration of companies from all over Europe: FundingBox, CTAG, FiA, Mobile World Capital Barcelona, ISDI, ARGUS, Ferrovial Servicios, Groupe PSA, y FIWARE Foundation.

Previous steps

The first stop was in Lublin. There the program kicked off in February. We started with a three-day Disruptive Bootcamp. 24 startups were selected to enter the second phase of the program, a two-month acceleration led by ISDI and CTAG.

Then comes to the capital of Spain, Madrid. One month later the 24 selected startups took part in the Digital Bootcamp. In Madrid we had the chance to show what Safeye actually does, met privately with specific consortium members and took part in classes and workshops given by professionals from all around the world.

All 24 selected startups were cited in Vigo (Spain). At the end of this two-month period between Madrid and Vigo, only 18 companies were selected to remain in the program and enter the third and last stage of acceleration…

Funding Bootcamp in Prague

This last stage includes two important features: funding coaching and corporate guidance to foster startup-corporate collaboration. Startups will also have access to an international network of mentors, founders, and investors with expertise in the digital sector and the automotive industry, and will have the opportunity to showcase their companies at top international events organized by 4YFN and Mobile World Capital Barcelona.
