Secmotic joins eCitySevilla to integrate systems into its FIWARE platform

The concept

Secmotic will be part of the eCitySevilla project through the integration of systems into the FIWARE eCity platform.

This initiative, led by the Regional Government of Andalusia (through the Ministry of Economic Transformation, Industry, Knowledge, and University and the Andalusian Energy Agency), the City Council of Seville, the Cartuja Scientific and Technological Park (PCT Cartuja), and Endesa, aims to make the PCT Cartuja a renewable and sustainable environment by 2025.

What is the goal of eCitySevilla?

This project aims to ensure that the PCT Cartuja enjoys a 100% renewable, electric, and self-sufficient energy supply. In addition to having efficient buildings, it aims to expand charging points to promote electric sustainable mobility.

How does it work?

Secmotic’s role involves developing an Application Programming Interface (API) to connect different types of data to the FIWARE eCitySevilla platform.

This will enable the connection of building management information systems from the Andalusian Energy Agency, charging points for electric vehicles owned by Endesa, and data layers from the Integrated Development Environment (IDE) platform of the City of Seville.

Moreover, all of this will function with an autonomous system connected to a Smart Grid, allowing a data platform for intelligent park management.
